How it works
Three steps, start to finish
- Step 1
Add to Slack
An owner or admin clicks Add to Slack under Integrations. If your workspace only allows approved apps, a Slack admin approves Pulsido first.
- Step 2
Pick a kudos channel
Choose an existing public channel, or let Pulsido create one and invite people. Kudos post there as cards.
- Step 3
Give the first kudos
Type /kudos in any channel, or use the web. People who sign in with Slack are linked automatically.
Controls
What Pulsido can and can't do in Slack
Included in every plan. Slack works on Free, Pro, and Business. The pulse in Slack needs Business, because the pulse does.
- Posts kudos, the weekly round, and recaps to the channels you choose
- Sends DMs: the pulse, replies to feedback, and notifications people haven't turned off
- Reads your member list (names and emails) to match people to their Pulsido accounts
- Can't read your channels' messages: it has no message history permission
- Disconnecting under Integrations revokes Pulsido's Slack token straight away
